The Back to Balance Test® offers a specialised Intolerance and Sensitivity Test designed to identify food, environmental, and respiratory triggers that can contribute to chronic health conditions such as allergies, skin issues, IBS, bloating, and ADHD.
We test for over 200 items, primarily food-based, but also include environmental and respiratory triggers such as dust, pollen, and mould.
Our test is suitable for anyone suffering from chronic conditions such as allergies, skin issues, ADHD, or gut imbalances. We even offer testing for babies (aged 0+) using a saliva swab, making it accessible for children, adults, and the elderly.
The test costs £299, which includes a consultation with one of our specialists. We also offer a walk-in service at partner pharmacies where you can pay directly. Pearl patients can benefit from a complimentary re-test.
The test can be conducted using a saliva swab or a finger prick blood test. We only require a couple of drops of blood, and the entire process takes less than five minutes.
An allergy typically causes immediate symptoms triggered by your immune system, while an intolerance involves a delayed reaction caused by the digestive system. Our test identifies both types of responses to help tailor your diet and treatment.
We use a German medical device that measures how your body reacts to specific foods and environmental factors by detecting inflammation. The results help us identify potential triggers and create a personalised list of foods to eliminate or reduce.
Once you complete the test, you will receive a detailed report via email, highlighting foods and items to eliminate (in red), reduce (in yellow), and those that are safe (in green). During your consultation, our specialists will guide you through implementing these changes.
While results vary depending on your condition, many clients notice improvements within a few weeks of following their personalised elimination and supplementation plan. We recommend retesting after two to three months to track progress.
For conditions like ADHD, the test helps identify food triggers that may exacerbate symptoms. Even a 10-20% improvement in dietary management can have a noticeable positive impact on focus and overall health.
Yes! Many individuals find that identifying food intolerances helps them address the underlying causes of bloating and slow metabolism, making it easier to lose weight through a more suitable diet plan.
Yes, the test is safe to take during pregnancy. However, we recommend discussing the results with your healthcare provider to ensure your diet aligns with your specific pregnancy needs.

Yes! Even if you do not have noticeable symptoms, our test can provide valuable insights into your body’s reactions to certain foods or environmental triggers. Early identification can prevent future health issues.
If you continue to consume foods or be exposed to triggers that cause inflammation, you may experience ongoing symptoms such as fatigue, bloating, or skin irritation. Following the recommended plan is key to improving your overall well-being.
